This quick and easy Chicken and Beans Stir Fry is a perfect weeknight dinner that’s packed with flavor and nutrition. The tender chicken and crisp beans are stir-fried with a savory sauce that will have you coming back for seconds.
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, thinly sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 cup green beans, trimmed and cut into 2-inch pieces
- 1 cup snap peas, trimmed
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water
- 2 green onions, chopped
- Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
- Cooked rice or noodles, for serving
Instructions
- Prepare the Chicken:
- In a large skillet or wok, heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the sliced chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- Stir-Fry the Vegetables:
- In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil.
- Add the garlic and ginger, and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
