Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 4 oz sour cream
  • 2 tbsp taco seasoning
  • 1/3 cup salsa (taco or picante)
  • 1-2 jalapenos, seeded and diced (optional)
  • 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 ½ cups cooked and shredded chicken (or ground beef, or your favorite protein)
  • ⅓ cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 6 large flour tortillas

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, beat together the cream cheese, sour cream, taco seasoning, salsa, and jalapenos (if using) until smooth and creamy.
  2. Fold in the shredded cheddar cheese, cooked and shredded chicken (or your chosen protein), and chopped cilantro.
  3. Spread a thin layer of the taco mixture evenly over each tortilla.
  4. Roll up each tortilla tightly, starting from one of the short ends.
  5. Wrap each roll-up in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or until chilled and firm.
