Taco Bites Recipe


These Taco Bites are perfect for a party appetizer, snack, or even a fun dinner option. They’re packed with all the delicious flavors of a traditional taco in a bite-sized form.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef or turkey
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup sliced black olives
  • 1/4 cup diced red onion
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup salsa
  • 24 mini taco shells or tortilla scoops
  • Optional: sliced jalapeños, guacamole, cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the Meat: In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef or turkey until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Add Seasoning: Add the taco seasoning and water to the skillet. Stir to combine and let simmer for about 5 minutes, until the sauce thickens.
  4. Prepare the Mini Taco Shells: Arrange the mini taco shells or tortilla scoops on a baking sheet.
  5. Fill the Shells: Spoon the cooked meat mixture into each mini taco shell.
