Strawberry Trifle with Angel Food Cake

Ingredients
- 1 prepared angel food cake, cut into cubes
- 1 quart fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 1 cup strawberry jam
- 2 cups vanilla custard (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
- Prepare the Strawberries:
- In a large bowl, combine the sliced strawberries with the strawberry jam. Mix well until the strawberries are coated with the jam. Set aside.
- Prepare the Whipped Cream:
