This is a light and refreshing dessert that’s perfect for summer potlucks or barbecues. It’s also incredibly easy to make, requiring minimal ingredients and prep time.
Ingredients
- 1 (8 ounce) container Cool Whip, thawed (or whipped cream)
- 1 (3.4 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
- 1 (6 ounce) package strawberry gelatin mix
- 1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained
- 1 (10 ounce) bag mini marshmallows
- 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together the Cool Whip, pudding mix, and strawberry gelatin mix until well combined.
- Fold in the drained crushed pineapple, mini marshmallows, and sliced strawberries. Be gentle to avoid crushing the strawberries.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until chilled and set.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
Tips:
- For a fun twist, add in some chopped nuts or mini chocolate chips.
- If fresh strawberries aren’t available, you can substitute with frozen strawberries, thawed and drained.
- If you prefer a stronger strawberry flavor, use homemade whipped cream instead of Cool Whip.
