Delicious combination of succulent shrimp and savory teriyaki steak served over noodles, perfect for a satisfying meal.
Ingredients
- 8 oz steak, thinly sliced
- 8 oz shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 8 oz udon noodles (or noodles of your choice)
- 1 cup teriyaki sauce
- 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 yellow bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Sesame seeds and green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare Noodles:
- Cook the udon noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Cook Steak:
- Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Season the thinly sliced steak with salt and pepper.
- Add the steak to the skillet and cook for about 2-3 minutes per side, or until cooked to your desired doneness.
- Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
- Cook Shrimp:
- In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until pink and cooked through.
- Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
- Prepare Vegetables:
- In the same skillet, add the sliced bell peppers and onion.
- Sauté for 3-4 minutes, or until vegetables are tender-crisp.
- Combine Everything:
- Return the cooked steak and shrimp to the skillet.
- Pour in teriyaki sauce and stir to coat everything evenly.
- Add the cooked udon noodles and toss everything together until well combined and heated through.
- Serve:
- Divide the shrimp and teriyaki steak noodles among serving plates.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
