  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Vegetables: Chop the lettuce, halve the cherry tomatoes, slice the cucumber and red onion, and thaw the frozen peas.
  2. Layer the Ingredients: In a large glass bowl, start by layering the chopped lettuce at the bottom. Follow with a layer of cherry tomatoes, then cucumber slices, red onion, shredded cheddar cheese, and thawed peas. Top with crumbled bacon.
  3. Make the Dressing: In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, sour cream, sugar, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  4. Add the Dressing: Spread the dressing evenly over the top layer of the salad.
  5. Chill the Salad: Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving. This allows the flavors to meld together.
