Ingredient
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning mix
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 cup nacho cheese sauce
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup sliced black olives (optional)
- 1/4 cup diced onions
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup salsa
- 1 jalapeño, sliced (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the Beef:
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until fully browned. Drain any excess fat.
- Add the taco seasoning mix and water to the skillet. Stir well and let it simmer for about 5 minutes, until the beef is well coated and the liquid has reduced.
- Heat the Cheese Sauce:
- In a small saucepan, gently heat the nacho cheese sauce over low heat, stirring occasionally until it’s warm and smooth.
- Assemble the Wraps:
- Lay out the flour tortillas on a clean surface.
- Divide the seasoned beef evenly among the tortillas, placing it in the center of each one.
- Drizzle a generous amount of nacho cheese sauce over the beef.
- Add shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, black olives (if using), and diced onions on top of the beef and cheese.
- Add Finishing Touches:
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the vegetables.
- Add a dollop of sour cream and a spoonful of salsa on top.
- If you like extra heat, add a few slices of jalapeño.
- Wrap It Up:
- Fold the sides of the tortilla over the filling, then roll it up from the bottom to the top, creating a neat and secure wrap.
- Serve:
- Serve the wraps immediately while warm. You can cut them in half for easier handling.
