Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
- 1 (30 oz) package frozen shredded hashbrowns, thawed
- 1 (10.75 oz) can condensed cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs (optional)
- 2 tablespoons melted butter (optional)
- Chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish and set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken, thawed hashbrowns, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, milk, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
- If desired, combine the breadcrumbs and melted butter in a small bowl. Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture evenly over the casserole.
- Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes.
