Hashbrown Chicken Casserole Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
  • 1 (30 oz) package frozen shredded hashbrowns, thawed
  • 1 (10.75 oz) can condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter (optional)
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish and set aside.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken, thawed hashbrowns, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, milk, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
  4. If desired, combine the breadcrumbs and melted butter in a small bowl. Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture evenly over the casserole.
  5. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes.
