Ingredients
- For both Nice Cream and Ice Cream:
- 1 cup chopped fresh pineapple
- 1 cup chopped fresh strawberries
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup (or to taste)
- 1/4 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
- 1 lime, juiced (optional)
- For Ice Cream Only:
- 1/2 cup heavy cream (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
Instructions
- Freeze the fruit: Wash and chop the pineapple and strawberries. Spread them on a baking sheet in a single layer and freeze for at least 2 hours, or until solid.
- Blend the base: Place the frozen pineapple, frozen strawberries, honey or maple syrup, milk, and lime juice (if using) in a high-powered blender. Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed.
- For Nice Cream: Enjoy immediately! The consistency will be soft serve like.
