- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare the Steaks:
- Season the steaks generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the steaks and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or to your desired level of doneness.
- Remove the steaks from the skillet and set them aside to rest.
- Make the Creamy Sauce:
- In the same skillet, add the butter and let it melt.
- Add the chopped onion and cook until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add the minced garlic and cook for another 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.
- Pour in the beef broth and scrape up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.
- Stir in the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, Dijon mustard, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Let the sauce simmer for 5-7 minutes, until it thickens slightly.
- Combine and Serve:
- Return the steaks to the skillet, spooning the creamy sauce over them.
- Cook for another 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.
- Garnish with fresh parsley.
- Serve the steaks hot, with the creamy sauce drizzled over them.
