Cuisine Corner Steak in Creamy Sauce

A savory and tender steak dish served with a rich and creamy sauce. Perfect for a special dinner or a hearty meal.

Ingredients

  • 4 beef steaks (ribeye, sirloin, or your preferred cut)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Steaks:
  • Season the steaks generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
  • Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add the steaks and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or to your desired level of doneness.
  • Remove the steaks from the skillet and set them aside to rest.
  1. Make the Creamy Sauce:
  • In the same skillet, add the butter and let it melt.
  • Add the chopped onion and cook until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Add the minced garlic and cook for another 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.
  • Pour in the beef broth and scrape up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.
  • Stir in the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, Dijon mustard, and Worcestershire sauce.
  • Let the sauce simmer for 5-7 minutes, until it thickens slightly.
  1. Combine and Serve:
  • Return the steaks to the skillet, spooning the creamy sauce over them.
  • Cook for another 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley.
  • Serve the steaks hot, with the creamy sauce drizzled over them.
