Indulge in the rich flavors of Cowboy Butter Lobster Tails, a decadent dish that combines the succulence of lobster with the bold flavors of garlic, herbs, and spices. Perfect for special occasions or whenever you crave a luxurious seafood experience.

Ingredients

  • 4 lobster tails
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat or preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Using kitchen shears, carefully cut the top shell of each lobster tail lengthwise down the center, stopping at the tail. Using your fingers, gently pry the shell open to expose the meat, keeping the shell intact.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, chives, thyme leaves, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly incorporated.
  4. Brush the cowboy butter mixture generously over the exposed lobster meat, ensuring it’s well coated.
  5. If grilling, place the lobster tails shell side down on the preheated grill. Close the lid and cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until the lobster meat is opaque and cooked through, and the shells are lightly charred.
  6. If baking, place the lobster tails shell side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the lobster meat is opaque and cooked through.
  7. Once cooked, carefully remove the lobster tails from the grill or oven. Serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side for squeezing over the lobster meat.
  8. Enjoy your Cowboy Butter Lobster Tails hot and fresh, savoring the exquisite blend of flavors with each succulent bite.
