Ingredients
- 8 lasagna noodles
- 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups marinara sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish with non-stick spray and set aside.
- Cook the lasagna noodles according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside to cool slightly.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic powder, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Lay out a cooked lasagna noodle on a flat surface. Spread a generous amount of the chicken and cheese mixture evenly over the noodle.
- Carefully roll up the noodle, starting from one end, to form a tight roll. Place the roll seam side down in the prepared baking dish.
- Repeat with the remaining lasagna noodles and filling.
- Once all the rolls are in the baking dish, pour the marinara sauce over the top, spreading it evenly to cover the rolls.
- Sprinkle extra mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top if desired.
- Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the rolls are heated through and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, or until the cheese is golden brown.
