Cabbage Roll Soup Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small head cabbage, chopped
  • 1 can (28 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sour cream and fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large pot or Dutch oven, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  2. Add diced onion to the pot and sauté until softened, about 3-4 minutes. Stir in minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  3. Add chopped cabbage to the pot and cook until slightly wilted, about 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in diced tomatoes, beef broth, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, and paprika. Bring the soup to a simmer.
