Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small head cabbage, chopped
- 1 can (28 oz) diced tomatoes
- 4 cups beef broth
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Sour cream and fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a large pot or Dutch oven, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat if necessary.
- Add diced onion to the pot and sauté until softened, about 3-4 minutes. Stir in minced garlic and cook for another minute.
- Add chopped cabbage to the pot and cook until slightly wilted, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in diced tomatoes, beef broth, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, and paprika. Bring the soup to a simmer.
