Arabic Square Cake Recipe

  • 1 cup semolina
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil

  • A pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour an 8×8 inch baking dish.

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the semolina, all-purpose flour, sugar, baking powder, ground cardamom, and salt.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the yogurt, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.
