AIR FRYER CHICKEN RISSOLES RECIPE


These delicious and healthy chicken rissoles are perfect for a quick meal. Made with ground chicken and a mix of flavorful seasonings, they are cooked to perfection in the air fryer, resulting in a crispy exterior and a juicy interior.

Ingredients

  • 500g ground chicken
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, chopped onion, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, beaten egg, chopped parsley, dried oregano, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly combined.
  2. Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions and shape each portion into a rissole (flattened patty).
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 180°C (350°F) for about 5 minutes.
  4. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray to prevent sticking. Place the rissoles in a single layer in the basket, making sure they do not touch each other. You may need to cook them in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
  5. Air fry the rissoles at 180°C (350°F) for 12-15 minutes, flipping them halfway through the cooking time, until they are golden brown and cooked through. The internal temperature should reach 75°C (165°F).
  6. Remove the rissoles from the air fryer and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
  7. Serve the chicken rissoles with your favorite dipping sauce or a side salad. Enjoy!
